1. Who we are

This online shop at shop.xavierarnau.com is operated by Xavier Arnau, photographer, Carrer Salvador Dalí 19, 17469 Fortià (Girona), Spain. Email info@xavierarnau.com, phone +34 609 471 756. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Xavier Arnau; "you" refers to the customer.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every order placed in this shop. By placing an order you accept them. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence.

3. The products

We sell photographic prints of images by Xavier Arnau, produced to order by our print partner WhiteWall (Frechen, Germany) on Fuji Crystal DP II photo paper. Prints are open editions and are sold unframed unless stated otherwise. Each product page states whether the image is a real photograph or was created with AI image generation.

Product images, room mock-ups and screen colours are for illustration. Small differences in colour and tone between your screen and the finished print are normal and are not a fault.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at the time of order through Shopify's secure checkout, using the payment methods shown there.

5. Orders and contract

After you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. The contract is formed when we send that confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a price or product was shown incorrectly or if payment fails; in that case any amount paid will be refunded in full.

6. Production and delivery

Each print is produced to order, usually within 3–5 working days, and shipped directly from the lab with a tracked carrier. Estimated delivery times are shown on our Shipping & Delivery page and in the Shipping policy. Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to import duties and taxes charged by the destination country, which are paid by the customer.

7. Right of withdrawal, returns and damage

Consumers in the European Union may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving it. How to do this, and what happens if a print arrives damaged or faulty, is explained in our Refund policy.

8. Legal guarantee

You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for goods under applicable law. If a print is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will repair (reprint), replace or refund it as the law provides.

9. Copyright

All images remain the intellectual property of Xavier Arnau. Buying a print gives you ownership of that physical print for private display. It does not grant any right to copy, scan, reproduce, or use the image commercially. For licensing, please contact us.

10. Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of the order concerned.

11. Personal data

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy policy.

12. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim in the courts there. If you have a complaint, please email info@xavierarnau.com first and we will do our best to resolve it.
